As summer winds down and Lake Chelan begins to quiet, it’s time for us to pause, pack up, and say see-you-soon. Chelan Bay Marina is officially closing for the season at the end of September.

If you drive by this fall and see the lot empty or the building gone, don’t worry, we’re not gone for good. We’ve been operating from a temporary trailer this year while we work through the permitting and planning stages for our future permanent facility. That building will be coming down soon, which means it may look like we’ve disappeared. But the truth is, we’re just on pause.

Chelan Bay Marina will reopen next season, ready to welcome you back to the lake for boat sales, boat rentals and slip rentals.

This first year was a special one. From our Surf & Sip Launch Party to our first wave of premium rentals, transient moorage guests, and wake-surf demos, we loved getting to know the Chelan community. Thank you for your support, your curiosity, and your love of the lake. We’ll be using the off-season to refine, improve, and plan what’s next, including more great events, expanded marina services, and long-term improvements to the guest experience.

Is the marina permanently closed?

Not at all! We are closing for the winter season, and the temporary trailer you saw on-site is being removed. Our long-term vision for a permanent marina facility is still in the works.
